Two bedrooms, two baths, office, spacious living and dining rooms. Deck with gorgeous views of large oak trees and the hill beyond. Located in an upscale 55+ community with two golf courses, 3 pools, an activity center, and tennis courts. The house is one hour 15 minutes drive north of San Francisco. There are hundreds of wineries located within 5 - 30 minutes drive of the house. One person must be 55+ and children are not permitted.

Santa Rosa San Francisco or Oakland

Downtown Santa Rosa is 10 miles from the house. Santa Rosa has a population of 170,000. Small shopping areas and full-size grocery stores are located within 5 miles of the house. Santa Rosa is also the home of world class breweries. There are many musical events and excellent local theater groups nearby.

Sonoma County has over 400 wineries, Anderson Woods State Park with 300 feet tall redwood trees, historical Jack London State Park and many other State and Regional parks, all with hiking trails. 50 miles of Pacific Ocean shoreline are on the west of the county, the Mayacamus Mtns., the border with Napa County are on the east. There are numerous festivals and musical events year-round. Napa Valley with its 500 wineries is a 30 minute drive. The Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco are one and a quarter hour drive south.

We are both active members of Rotary. Doug is a retired Federal Manager. Mary is a retired art teacher and University Research Administrator. We travel throughout the world but like to stay in one location for a good period of time to get to know it. We ski in the winter, hike in the summer and belong to hiking clubs in California and Colorado. Doug plays golf now and then. We are especially interested in the arts, culture and history. We have extensive experience kitty sitting in Aspen, The Cottswolds and Paris.
