3 bedroom house on waters edge of beautiful tidal bay in the Tauranga Harbour. Extensive decking outside main living areas and separate gazebo with outdoor furniture. At high tide enjoy swimming and kayaking from the lawn (2 kayaks & dinghy available). Comfortably furnished with bed linen and towels provided.

Tauranga is a coastal city with a population of 110,000 located 2.5 hrs south of Auckland. The area has extensive harbour and beautiful surf beaches at Mt Maunganui (15 mins drive). This is a perfect base to explore the beautiful Bay of Plenty with its beaches, bush walks, golf courses, restaurans and shopping.

Local Area

Our home is situated in a quiet neighbourhood, 15 mins drive to Tauranga city centre, or 20 mins drive to the beautiful white sand, surf beaches at Mt Maunganui. Our city is situated on a large tidal harbour (popular for boating and yachting).

Tauranga is situated close to many major tourist attractions - within 2 hours of Taupo (NZ's largest lake) and Waitomo Caves, 1 hour to the geothermal wonders of Rotorua and 45 minutes to Hobbiton movie set. Our house is a great place to just relax in the summer, or as a base to explore the beautiful Bay of Plenty area.
