Our home is located just one mile from the northern boundary of Washington D.C. Our house is about twenty minutes by car from the White House, and is centrally located to all national capital sites. We are fortunate that the modern, efficient Metro subway system is located 1/4 mile walking distance away from our home. Just a 15-minute ride on the Metro, and you are in downtown Washington, close to Smithsonian museums, the Capitol, the White House, and the National Gallery of Art. Our home is an excellent base from which to explore the whole Mid-Atlantic area, including Colonial Williamsburg, Philadelphia, and coastal beaches.
There are a number of golf courses located throughout the metropolitan Washington D.C. area. The closest course is Sligo Creek Golf Course, only 1/2 mile away.
