Two Bedroom Townhouse in Hamilton City, Central location in the North Island, New Zealand, overlooking lake Rotoroa
Happy to exchange from 2 to 3 months as we are now retired.
Our home is one of two townhouses in central Hamilton overlooking Lake Rotoroa. There is a pleasant 4km walkway around the lake outside our front gate. Our house consists of 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom/toilet upstairs and small conservatory off the master bedroom and an open plan living area (Kitchen, dining/lounge) downstairs also another bathroom combined with a laundry. A conservatory off the lounge opens out onto a patio facing the lake with a BBQ, seating and spa pool area overlooking the garden. A single garage is attached to the home with internal access. We have a mixture of antique and modern furnishings. We have recently redecorated the interior of our home. A kayak is available for use on the lake.
We are close enough to walk to theatres, cafes and the central shopping centre of Hamilton with lovely river walks and cycling tracks. Minutes away are the world famous Hamilton Gardens.
Hamilton is the 4th largest city in New Zealand with the mighty Waikato River flowing through it which is NZ's longest river. Hamilton is in the centre of the North Island with popular distinations like Rotorua, Taupo and the Coromandal beaches approximately 2 hours away. Hamilton is in the Waikato Region famous for its dairy farming and horse studs. The region boosts many walking and cycling tracks with relaxing mineral pools. The magical Hobbiton Movie set is close by as is the famous limestone caves of Waitomo. Within 20 minutes of our home there are fabulous golf courses like St Andrews, Horsham Downs, The Narrows, Ngaruawahia, Ngahinapouri to name a few.
We have many city and rural golf courses within easy driving distance from our centrally located home. The 2 popular courses are St Andrews and Horsham Downs.
