Although Palm Coast is a city , the United States Post Office classifies it as rural routes. If you want to fish, biat, swim, hike, bike, sight see, this is the place that has it all.

Palm Coast has a population on 80,000 Plus dispersed over a large land mass. It was incorporated as a city about 15 years ago but it feelds more like a town. We have three golf courses , tennis courts and plenty of hiking and biking trails. We are 10 minutes max to the ocean, 1/2 hour to St Augustine which is the oldest, continuously inhabited city the the US, 1/2 hour to Daytona Beach and the racetrack. We are 1 hour from Jacksonville FL, 1 1/2 hours to Disneyworld. 3 1/2 hours to Savannah and 4 hours to Charlston. Palm Coast has plenty of restaurant choices so there is no need to leave. There are plenty of restaurants on the ocen both in Plam Coast and Flagler Beach which is the next twon south and to minutes away.

Golf fees are more reasonable in Palm Coast that Northern courses. I believe the courses require the players to use a golf cart. The coursed are well maintained and diverse in topography. This is whar I have learned from golfers as I am not golfer.

I have been a Rotarian for 29 years. I first joined Rotary in Merrimack , NH before relocating to FL and joining the Palm Coast Rotary  Club. About 14 years ago I did a home exchange with a Rotarian from Paris who had a second home in Monaco. They came to my home for two weeks and I was invited to stay in Monaco for three weeks. I am still working two days a week so not technically retired yet. I work as a hairdresser in an assisted living facility. I bowl weekly, play poker and mahjong, sing in the choir. My home is situated about 10 minutes from the ocean, a half hour from St Augustine, ( the oldest inhabited city in the US), an hour and a half from Disneyworld. We have three golf courses in Palm Coast, plenty of fishing, (both fresh water and saltwater), tennis, hiking and biking trails. Plam Coast is a fairly new city but feels more like a toen. It wa developed about 40 years ago. I am seeking to do a home exchange for about three  or four weeks but will entertain  a shorter period of time. I have two adult sons, a daughter in law and two grand children. My family would like to come over for about 10 days.  We are looking for a town rather than a city. Our first preference would be the UK but we are flexible.
