El Paso is at the western tip of Texas on the US-Mexico border - an historic, friendly, bilingual, and bicultural city. Sunny and warm 360 days a year. Walk the neighborhood for exercise. Wide choice of coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping are within five minute drive. Vibrant downtown with entertainment and sports venues, great minor league baseball and soccer teams, university with theatre and music performances, public golf are within 20 minute drive. Great authentic Mexican food! Other treasures of the desert southwest are within a half-day drive, including White Sands, Carlsbad Caverns, and Big Bend National Parks, tourist towns of Ruidoso and Santa Fe, New Mexico, Tucson and Bisbee, Arizona. Susan is an in-house lawyer for a school system and David is semi-retired from government relations.  We met as young Americans in London in the 1970s.  We love living in the sunny, warm SW USA with desert and mountain birding, hiking, camping, and Hispanic orientation.  But we also like to travel to new places, including Europe and Canada.  When we fully retire, probably 2023, we want to spend 3-6 months in somewhere new and explore the region.  In the meantime, some mid-length exchanges.   Let's plan an exchange - you would love it here!
