Nottingham East Midlands

Riverside is located in the quiet village of North Muskham, two miles North of the market town of Newark on Trent. The ideal position for transiting major roads North and South, the A 1 is a major route first established by Roman invaders in the 1st century. Running East West is a second major route, A46 which joins Hull to the North East and Warwick in the South Midlands. Both routes are within two miles of our village. Newark, two miles upriver, is dominated by a castle dating back to the 11th century, once the residence of King John. A major influence of all river traffic between historic Nottingham and the North Sea port of Hull. Located in the heart of the Midlands, Newark is the ideal base for travellers.

David and Jackie, now in our sixties, retired, but still young enough to enjoy travelling to new places. We are old school, respectful of other people's property and views. Ex professionals who appreciate the opportunity to enjoy new locations, the exchange system suits us very well. We have nothing but praise for the concept of reciprocal swopping of our home with like minded people in areas of interest to us. We travel without children, preferring to welcome other couples into our property in similar circumstances. Comfortable in the certainty that mishaps resulting in damage to property are rarely experienced, we do not kick footballs or climb onto roof tops any more. We are both wildlife watchers,  no longer able to hike off into the wilds but love to spend time in quiet locations.  We enjoy being beside or on the sea,  watching whales or a spot of fishing is our preferred leisure activity.
