Our modest, mid-century home is in College Hill, one of the prettiest neighborhoods in town and within five minutes walk of amenities including restaurants, bars, markets and shops. There are also two bicycles to use. Our detached two bedroom one bath home sleeps 4 (two queen beds). Washer and dryer. Newly remodeled. Spacious back yard with deck, grill, patio, and native plants. Garden with fruits and vegetables that may be ready to pick, depending on the season. If needed, we have friends that will act as goodwill ambassadors to orient you and show you around the Eugene area.

Eugene is a diverse college town. The Willamette River flows through the middle, bordered by parks, trails and bridges. It is bicycle-friendly. It boasts the longest-running outdoor crafts Saturday market in the U.S. There are art galleries, local theatre, as well as numerous indoor and outdoor concert venues.

Oregon has temperate rain forests, both rugged coastline and sandy seashores, glacier-peaked mountains, high desert, and fertile valleys.

Within an hour or two drive of Eugene:
--the world-class Oregon Garden
--spectacular Oregon coast and National Scenic Dunes
--the Cascade Mountains with hiking opportunities in ancient forests
