Patricia & Shayne’s House in the Swan Valley, Perth Western, Australia
We have caravan that we use for long term travel, this allows us to offer our home for non-simultaneous exchanges.
We are often away for extended periods of time.
In 2023 our home will be available for a minimum of 4 weeks from 16th of August to 6th of October, and for a minimum of 4 weeks from 17th of December to 22nd January.
Besides the three destinations listed, we are also open to 2024 exchanges from France, Holland, Croatia and other areas in Europe.
The main bedroom is at the front of house, it has a queen size bed with attached ensuite. The second bedroom is at the back of house with queen size bed and has use of the second bathroom at that end of the house. Third bedroom, if required, is next door to the second bedroom. Our house has three large living rooms, the front lounge is cosier with large TV lounge and recliner chairs. The second living area in centre of our home has 43 course ceilings it is a great for relaxing or playing the piano. The third area is the main lounge room, with high ceilings and large comfy lounges. It connects to, and has views to the outside garden and under cover patio. We have a large peaceful undercover patio area with views of our garden in all directions. Many birds visit our garden. The patio has roll down blinds if required for protection from sun, wind, or rain (we rarely ever need to use them.) We have set our garden up to be easy care as we do travel away a lot in our caravan
The front of our house overlooks a native parkland where a small mob of kangaroos live. In the evening and night time they come and feed on our front lawn The Swan Valley is a patchwork of grapevines, with over 40 world-class wineries, cellar doors, breweries and produce stalls. All are within easy reach of The Vines by car Whiteman Park is only a 20-minute drive from our house where you can enjoy natural bush with many long walking trails also situated there is the Caversham Wildlife Park where you can get up close with Koalas. 25-minute drive to Guildford train station (plenty of parking Guildford is a 20-minute train ride to Perth. Then you can connect to Fremantle or Mandurah. There is a small supermarket village a six-minute drive away. Ellenbrook Central is a 10-minute drive with two major supermarkets, food hall, chemists, Big W, Kmart, along with many variety shops. In Ellenbrook there are many coffee houses and take away food shops.
If you are a keen golfer, our home is five minutes from The Vines Resort & Country Club, a 36 hole course set amongst native bush.
