We would love to visit Eastern seaboard states of the USA...especially in Fall. Or even return for 2 or 3 months to Australia-Preferably Perth area in WA . Either of these from October 2019 onwards
Our modern home is near open fields & also the long sandy beaches in Burnham on Sea, Somerset. It’s a tranquil spot but also is near all the attractions of SW England as it’s not far from J22 of M5 motorway.

Weston-s-Mare is a real English holiday seaside town, with a recently rebuilt pier, golden sands, even donkeys. We have the second highest tide in the world here, but the sea does make an appearance twice a day!! There's been a lot of investment here recently, with a new Promenade, easy access roads from M5 motorway--it's all looking good! A new cinema & restaurant area has recently opened & a sno-dome is even planned! We have a good shopping centre nearby & a lot to see & do in Somerset. We are also near the shopping mecca of Cribbs Causeway, Bristol, 25 minutes drive up the M5 motorway. Bath, Wells, Cheddar, Taunton & even Cardiff are all in easy reach.
Burnham on Sea is a typical small English seaside town, with a long sandy beach + lots of things to do.It's just off J22 of M5 m'way, so has easy access( 20 miles)to Bristol & its airport. Bath is only just over 1hr away by train,or a scenic car journey ( 40 miles) across Somerset's lakes & hills. The ancient cathedral city of Wells, famous Glastonbury; the stunning vista of Cheddar Gorge are all near to us here. Take a trip across the spectacular new Severn Bridge to see Cardiff & South Wales! We also have a railway station near us in Highbridge (with trains to London & Birmingham etc ) & good easy access by road to beautiful Cornwall/Devon. There are lovely walks nearby on the National Trust headland & beaches plus the Mendip hills if you are a keen walker.
The map marker is a general indicator of the local area only.
2 courses, one is very close, just across the road, but it is an expensive championship links course alongside the beach. Another more affordable one is a newer course further along at Brean Country Club. My husband is a member of Brean.

We are Jane & Alan, both retired now.
We have enjoyed many great exchanges in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, California & Florida & met some lovely people there.
Our hope is to return to the Perth area in Western Aus late Jan or Feb 2024 until March 2024. We love all of WA, especially Perth, but would love to stay anywhere around Northern beaches and the Mandurah area too!
Shorter exchanges in Europe, especially Nerja or anywhere in Spain, Portugal or France would be good too.
Just ask us please!
We are flexible in our dates as we have a holiday lodge in Cornwall, so we are not restricted to reciprocal exchanges. We appreciate that most of you lovely folk from WA will not wish to come to Europe/UK in our dreary winters so we usually make non-simultaneous exchanges. This way you can see our area in our lovely Spring, summer or even Autumn months! Most of our 30+ home exchanges have been non reciprocal & have worked well this way.
So—let’s chat!
