Lovely rural outlook, quiet and peaceful, yet only minutes walk from the centre of the town. Known as the "Antiques Town", Strathalbyn was the second town settled in SA outside Adelaide. Adelaide Adelaide

Adelaide is a comfortable hour's drive away via the freeway, and is a genteel city with many sporting, cultural and artistic opportunities year round. The annual Festival of Arts is world-renowned, and the Fringe Festival offers more alternative events. We have major sporting events in cricket, tennis and football, all codes!

Strathalbyn is in the centre of the Fleurieu Peninsula, not far from Adelaide, the capital of South Australia and on the way to Kangaroo Island. It's a delightful historical town, with plenty of antiques and very pretty gardens. Situated on the banks of the Angas River, there is a lovely park right in the centre of town, and you can even feed the ducks! We have a fabulous new swimming centre for summer, and other sporting activities include lawn bowls, tennis and golf nearby.

We are situated in the midst of many wineries and excellent restaurants, close to the Langhorne Creek and McLaren Vale wine regions. The world-renowned Coorong is close by, and a ride on the PS Oscar W Paddle Steamer is a must.

We love our spot!
