Auburn is 6 miles away, Grass Valley 12 miles, Lake Tahoe is about 1hr 45 minutes and San Francisco 2 hrs. Skiing at Sugar Bowl is about 50 minutes and Highway 80 is 8 miles. Nearest: Lake of Pines, Dark Horse, The Ridge. There is an 18-hole golf course on the development with a new sports lounge area for eating. The ninth hole is 8 houses away from our home. The course has many hills and can be quite challenging. Golf$25 after 2 on Wed & Sat with cart and balls. More at other times. Climate is hot in afternoons in summer.
