This is a renovated 1970s home set amongst weeping peppermint trees beside a seasonal river. We have a large vegetable garden & extensive pathways through a native garden. This is a small farm of 43acres in the Margaret River Wine Region of Western Australia on which we run a small Angus beef herd. There is abundant bird life to enjoy. The home has a large undercover deck for outdoor entertaining with BBQ & lighting. Visitors are free to roam the property & enjoy interacting with the cattle.

The nearest declared city is Busselton but it is in it's infancy, better considered a town. Bunbury is the nearest city but lacks an international airport. Perth is the major city of Western Australia & is approximately 21/2 hours drive from our home.
The Margaret River Wine Region is renowned for its' international award winning wines.There is an abundance of visitor activities such as swimming, surfing, fishing, bush walking, birding, & local events such as the Iron Man & Anaconda. Attractions for children include mazes, funparks, Supa golf, safe swimming.There are several exceptional galleries in the region & a wide variety of eating establishments - at wineries & in the towns of Augusta,Margaret River & nearby Busselton.The Busselton Jetty has an underwater marine observatory which can be reached by miniture train or by walking.There are several public golf courses & some private.Busselton beaches are very child friendly.
