Los Raimundos is a very small hamlet, no amenities but great walks and countryside right from the front door.It is set in the foothills of the Sierra de Los Fillibres. It is 20 minutes to the nearest town, Antas with all amenities and 30 minutes to Mojacar on the coast with its many resturants offering both spanish and Arabic dishes. A very agricultural area with many olive and orange trees. Very good for bird watchers and wild boar, ibex and tortoises can be seen. Nearest cities are Almeria and Murcia both with Arabic fortress. Ferries to Morocco run from Almeria.
