We would like to find an exchange or home sitting in the Caribbean or Costa Rica this winter.

A comfortable and practical 3-story house in the beautiful Rhone Valley in Switzerland. It was entirely renovated in 2000 and a new kitchen installed in 2010 and a new shower in 2013. Sleeps 4. Large covered terrace with a wonderful view of the mountains above Martigny, and a view of the Rhone valley and mountains. There is a fireplace in the living area. The house has electric heating. Equipment includes a washing machine, dishwasher, the usual kitchen appliances.
Annex with art studio and storage for bikes etc and drying the laundry. There is a walled patio and a small strip of garden on the SW side of the house alongside our neighbours' vineyard.
We have also rented our home to fellow exchangers in the past for a minimal amount to cover expenses.

Branson, a protected historical village, is a typical old winegrowers' village with narrow winding streets built into the hillside and nestled beneath a large nature reserve, Les Follatères, with lots of interesting walks. There are also plenty of family wine cellars where you can taste the local wines. Because it is such an old village, we have very close neighbours on one side.
Visit the websites Myswitzerland, Martigny and Valais to see the hundreds of things to do and see in the region! We are at the crossroads to Italy (Grand St Bernard tunnel and pass, and France : Forclaz Pass)

The map marker is a general indicator of the local area only.

We are retired , although we now seem busier than ever! Carol is Canadian and Patrick is English, but we have lived in Switzerland for 43 years. We have bought a camping van are are doing some long European trips and are interested in doing some "stopover exchanges" on our European travels. At the moment, we are looking for non-simultaneous exchanges somewhere warm in winter! We are toying with the idea of finding an exchange or rental in the Caribbean and Cost Rica this year or next.
