Taupō is internationally recognised for mountain biking with over 220km tracks; from grade 1-2 family and e-bike tracks to overnight adventures, grade 5 downhills and mtn bike tracks. It’s accredited ‘silver’ by the International Mountain Biking Asstn. There’s also a variety of long scenic trails. The area is a rich geothermal region with steaming valleys and healing hot springs.   We’re Maik and Keri. We live in the centre of the North Island of New Zealand, a geothermal region with mountains, lakes, native bush and loads of mountain bike and walking tracks. We’re really outdoorsy and live for skiing and snowboarding in the winter. We love to travel and have a bucket list of adventures we’re planning, starting with a winter season in Canada. Keri loves yoga and music, Maik loves mountain biking.   We’re respectful, house proud and practical people and promise to take good care of your home.   Keri is an ambulance officer, providing emergency care for those in her community. Maik is a builder and has built several of his own homes. Between us, we own two homes, both of which we’re happy to exchange.
