Auckland Auckland

Auckland is the biggest city in New Zealand with a population of over 1 million people. The city is located between two natural harbours, the Waitemata Harbour and the Manukau Harbour. The city has beaches on both the east and west coasts and is rated as one of the best cities in the world.

Located on the western end of Auckland's North Shore, Greenhithe is a peaceful, picturesque harbour side suburb with a real village feel. There are plenty of parks nearby with sandy east coast beaches only 15-30 minutes drive away and Downtown Auckland approximately 20-40 minutes drive. Auckland is known as the City of Sails being located between two harbours with many of the islands of the Gulf accessible by ferry. With Auckland as a base there are many options available to discover popular tourist spots e.g. The Bay of Islands, the thermal area of Rotorua and the beautiful beaches and forests of the Coromandel Peninsula, to name a few.

The map marker is a general indicator of the local area only.
