Our home is a detached stone built 4 bedroom house in the centre of a charming rural Northamptonshire village. On the ground floor we have a well furnished sitting room, dining room, study and large kitchen/breakfast room. There is also a utility room with laundry machines, a comfortable conservatory/sun room overlooking the garden, a cloakroom with WC and a garage/workshop. Upstairs we have four double bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room, plus a large family bathroom with a walk in shower. Outside we have a small well laid out private walled garden.
Blakesley is a very attractive rural village of 450 residents having a pub, a school, a village shop and an 11th century church. Many of the houses date back three or four hundred years and most of the buildings are constructed from local Northamptonshire ironstone. Blakesley is conveniently situated in the centre of England, with London, Oxford, Cambridge and Statford-Upon-Avon all within an hours drive. There are many lovely country walks both from the house and in the surrounding area and sporting opportunities include tennis, golf and swimming at Towcester, our local market town.
