The original cottage was built in 1650 for the local farm workers. Subsequent developments have been completed over the years to provide an interesting home of character on different levels. We have a lovely garden on different levels, plus a detached garage with additional parking. A large family bathroom includes a large walk-in shower with bath. A small kitchen diner is well equipped and leads in to a lounge with log burner.

The property is located in the "Olympic Village" (Eaglesfield) as many villagers are very keen and enthusiastic about enjoying the Lake District National Park - we swim, cycle, run and walk the fells. The village is a short drive to the Market Town of Cockermouth which has all amenities - shops, restaurants, cafes, theatre and sports centre. Lakes, rivers, fells and coastal areas are also a short drive away.

The map marker is a general indicator of the local area only.
