Non-simultaneous Exchange

We plan to be in the UK during July and August. We would like to exchange for 2-5 weeks--whatever works--but non simultaneous as our place will not be available during that time. January-April is open, and Sept.- December++ available

We have a spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath townhome in the charming, historic town of Sonoma, just a few blocks from the historic Plaza. On the ground floor is one large queen bedroom and bath. It opens to a delightful patio-garden. Upstairs is the living --dining area and recently renovated kitchen. There is also another queen bedroom and bath on this level. Just off the dining area is a large deck perfect for evening meals. Our climate is Mediterranean, so we often can eat outside through October.
We have an attached garage, and a laundry room with washer and dryer.

In Sonoma itself, there are several museums, including a Museum of Art. There are often local theater productions and a great historic Movie theatre right on the plaza. Great restaurants!! There are several places with live music every evening. All these are within walking distance of our townhouse.

The town of Sonoma is a bit of a secret for many people new to the area. There is a lot of early California history here. We have a small Mission and several other historic buildings to visit. Jack London State Park is about a 20 minute drive. Napa is also 20 minutes away. We are about an hour's drive north of San Francisco, and 45 minutes from the Pacific Ocean. Sonoma, itself, has a beautiful plaza surrounded by excellent restaurants, interesting shops and wine tasting rooms. Large wineries with tasting rooms overlooking the vineyards are all nearby.Good walks and biking are everywhere.

The map marker is a general indicator of the local area only.

"Rem" is a retired department head for a large utility company.  Bobbie is a retired Latin teacher.  We are in our late 70's but very active. We love country and city walks, large and small museums, and meeting new people.  "Rem" lived in the UK for many years and has family there whom we visit often.  We always try to add a new place to explore on our trips from the US.
