I have a small dog and a cat and I would like to bring them with me as dog can't cope with kennels
First floor one bedroom flat within 15/20 minutes walking distance from the Cathedral City of Canterbury in Kent: the Garden of England. There is a good sized lounge with TV/DVD and one large one small sofa or large chair. Small kitchen with washing machine large fridge/freezer oven and grill but no microwave. Bathroom with bath and shower attachment to taps. Reasonable sized bedroom double bed. The view to the front is out over the surrounding streets but at the back as there is an area of greenery squirrels can frequently be seen in the trees there are also foxes that visit in the evening and sometimes hedgehogs. Flat is decorated with pastel shades of green yellow and rose shades in the various rooms and the floors throughout are laminated with large rug in the front room and a smaller one in the bedroom
Ancient city of Canterbury displays aspects of its Roman past alongside Norman developement and medieval expansion with several museums of national repute, plus the Canterbury Tales Centre and Winnie the Pooh museum. Combines medieval structures alongside new town centre with a full range of national and specialist shops
Near the Cathedral city of Canterbury: Easy access to Dover (30 mins) port to travel to France and the rest of Europe. Catching the Javelin high speed train from Canterbury West will get you to London in under an hour with lots to see and do there. As well as exploring Canterbury itself you are never more than about 10 miles away from the coast with many delightful beaches such as Whitstable (famous for its oysters) Herne Bay, Beltinge and scenic walks along the cliffs to Birchington or Reculver where the first settlers came many years ago and there is the remains of a monastry. Countryside is just around the corner also and within a mile or so of Canterbury you can be out into the country with many countryside and woodland walks such as Blean Nature Reserve, Kings Wood in the village of Challock and Clowes Wood on the way to Whitstable. There are many excellent places to eat and be entertained such as the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury
