We are Mike (72) and Gillie Bowen (70), retired publishers from England, and we celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary in January 2018. We have owned our lovely old house here in the Loire Valley France for 15 years and moved here permanently when we retired 10 years ago. We love to travel and usually go to warmer climes in January, February and March each year. We have now had over 50 successful house exchanges all over the world. We built an extension to our home 7 years ago in which we now live, so that we can use the 'big house' for non-simultaneous exchanges and family visits. We have three daughters and seven grandchildren. Mike enjoys gardening, genealogy research and plays guitar. I love writing and cooking and have written and published two cookbooks //goo.gl/TFzE2G and three novels //clc.li/dke. I am currently working on a trilogy: a romantic drama set in London and Toulouse. We love to swim in our pool during the summer months and our garden keeps us fit.
