We offer a spacious 1800-square-foot condo, located on the main floor of a three-story, century-old building. It has four bedrooms, one of which is used as a study, two living rooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and a deck where we eat all our meals as soon as it gets warm enough (end of May or beginning of June until end of September). Our enclosed backyard is quiet and peaceful, and a wonderful place to hang out and read a book. The apartment can sleep five in the bedrooms and two more on the living room pullout futon. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the pots and pans you could ever require. We have a driveway, one car, four bikes and an electric scooter for your use.

Montreal is a wonderful cosmopolitan city with a European feel where both French and English are spoken. The city is extremely safe and easy to get around in. It is renowned for its year-round festivals that make for a lively, exciting and entertaining atmosphere. Its botanical gardens, museums and restaurants are exceptional.

Our condo is in the heart of Montreal's exciting Plateau Mont-Royal district. Near to just about everything, it is a lively, safe and great walking neighbourhood with many restaurants, boutiques, fine food shops and parks. The subway is a short 10-minute walk from our home and several bus lines crisscross the neighbourhood. Come and enjoy the many festivals for which Montreal is now known or simply take in the festive and exciting atmosphere of the city. If you prefer outdoor activites, many parks, mountains and lakes are within a two-hour radius. In winter, you can also take advantage of Montreal's proximity to both downhill and cross-country skiing.

We are a family of four: dad, Hubert, mom, Cathy, daughters Sarah (21) and Sophie (18). Hubert is an engineer working in energy efficiency and Cathy is a translator working from home. Sarah is at McGill University studying neuroscience and is currently doing a student exchange in Dublin (winter 2015). Her sister, Sophie, is in college (which in Quebec is the level before university) studying sciences and social sciences. We all love travelling and discovering new places and new cultures. We enjoy a mixture of city-oriented and outdoor activities. Being food lovers who eat as much local, organic food as possible, we are happy to point out the best shops to meet all your culinary needs.
