Our home is a six year old Master Builders award winning, high quality 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home located in one of the most attractive suburbs in Perth, Western Australia. It has beautiful, low maintenance gardens with a small lawn at the front. Fully ducted reverse cycle air conditioning and solar power available to the home. The house is on two levels, with two large en-suite bedrooms upstairs, together with a large, open plan TV/study area, which opens on to a large secluded, private balcony. Downstairs there is a seperate sitting room and an open plan, luxury kitchen/dining/family room and one bedroom with an en-suite. Our home has beautiful fixtures and fittings, both inside and out. Our home is very close to public transport; schools; to Perth's best beaches and beach side restaurants; it is five minutes away from one of the best public golf course complexs (two 18 hole golf courses) in Australia and is a 15-20 min drive into the city of Perth

Perth is the capital city of Western Australia, set on the Swan River, with beautiful parks and water resources, some of the best beaches in the country. It has excellent museums and entertainment facilities and has a warm, mediteranean climate, cool in winter and usually hot and dry in summer. The best public golf course in WA is 5 minutes away and there are a substantial number of golf courses, public and private, within 15 to 30 minutes drive of our home.
Our home is located in the suburb of Churchlands, which is a leafy, green and quiet western suburb of Perth, approx 8 kms from the CBD. Our home is a 5 to 10 minute drive to all of the very best beaches in Perth and close to local shopping, services and schools, both primary and secondary. There are several very good restaurants located in adjoining suburbs and the home is a 5 minutes drive to the Wembley Golf Course complex.

My wife, Cathy, and I, Tim retired in 2014 after working as solicitors for most of our professional lives.
We are experienced home swapping members of Home Exchange 50 and HomeExchange.com and we have have had four very happy and successful exchanges to England. In addition, we have also had wonderful exchanges to Portugal, Italy, France, Canada, Switzerland and Ireland and we have enjoyed meeting new people and making new and lasting friendships with our exchange couples.
We have one grown up daughter who lives and works in Sydney, Australia. Cathy and I are both fit and well and are looking forward to travelling as much as we can over the next 5 to 10 years. We are ready, willing and able to travel within a short but reasonable time frame. We are both non-smokers and we have no pets. For most of our married lives, we have had a least two cats for pets but have not adopted any more since our last two cats passed away after 16 years with us. We are willing and able to look after pets for our exchange partners, if that is convenient and we have done so on two of our recent swaps.
Cathy is an avid book reader, I am happy to play golf, as and when I can. We both enjoy museums and natural history and enjoy countryside walks and exploring new places and the histories of the countries we visit.
We have a 3 year old, automatic Honda Accord Luxury 4 door sedan, which is also available for exchange if we are able to agree to exchange cars with our house swap partners.
