Our comfortable beach house has all the modern conveniences as well as a cupboard of old fashioned board games.
Agnes Water is described as having the most "useable water" in Australia. Safe for all ages to swim, gentle surf for the beginner to learn. It is ideal for both surfing and SUP. Five Kms away is the sheltered flat water @ 1770. The water temperature is warm enough to swim all year round.
Two world class excursions are available, a day trip to Lady Musgrave, the southern tip of the Great Barrier Reef where snorkelling in the lagoon offers opportunities to see the " Great Eight" of the Barrier Reef.

Agnes Water is a coastal community situated between Bundaberg and Gladstone on the Central Queensland coast with direct access to the Great Barrier Reef. The main beach is 5.5kms of beautiful my unspoiled landscape with a rocky headland at both ends. There are numerous secluded beaches ideal for walking and beach combing. From May to Sept is an ideal time to visit as the weather is conducive to spending long hours enjoying the beach. Agnes has a wonderful yoga community and very friendly locals who enjoy the company of our home exchangers. Having retired 16 years ago, we love travelling the world with home exchange. We enjoy the way home exchange allows you to get involved and live as the locals do, rather than be in an impersonal hotel meeting only other travellers. We take the time to really get to know an area.  Our interests are history, architecture, canals, sport and the things that make the places we visit unique. Although in our 60s we are fit active couple who enjoy the outdoors and physically challenging activities and skiing.
