Central East Down Town: Vancouver is always at the top of "the 10 most liveable cities" and "most beautiful in the world" and we feel privileged to live here. Surrounded by the Coast mountains, we have access to 4 ski areas. The closest is 30 mins drive from our apartment and the farthest is a 2 hr drive to Whistler Mountain, considered the top ski area in North America. Whistler also boasts a vibrant summer with hiking, biking, zip-lining, golf and many other outdoor activities. There are 3 city-owned, affordable, golf courses within 1/2 hr drive of downtown. We have miles of separated bike/walking paths along our beaches and our famous Stanley Park seawall.

We have been retired 20 years. Dick as a former secondary school principal, Helen an operating Room nurse. We have 4 adult children and 7 delightful and gifted grandchildren! We are avid travellers and love to explore new places. We experienced home exchanges some years ago, all very satisfying and have now decided it's time to take advantage of this program again. As for our particular interests, we primarily let the place we visit dictate how we spend our time. Every place is unique and that suits us fine.
