Our house has been fully renovated and refurbished. The downstairs consists of a lounge/dining room, a fully equipped modern good sized kitchen and a utility room with downstairs toilet. There is gas central heating throughout the house and a wood burning stove in the lounge/diner. Upstairs there is a very large master bedroom, plus a good sized double guest room. The bathroom is spacious, with a scroll top bath and a separate shower. All rooms have been furnished and decorated to a high standard. The well looked after garden is surprisingly large, with attractive patio areas. The property is situated in the city centre, yet only a few minutes drive to the beautiful countryside of the South downs.

Chichester is a small very beautiful Roman city, with many points of historic and cultural interest. But like larger cities, it also has the bustle of a good variety of shops, markets, restaurants etc. We feel that Chichester gives the best of both worlds as it also so close to the beautiful South downs and the sea.

We live in the centre of the beautiful city of Chichester, with a cathedral, museum, shops, restaurants, parks, theatre, cinemas, bus and train stations all a short walk away. The Goodwood estate situated in glorious countryside boasts both a horseracing course and a motor racing circuit, as well as 2 golf courses, and is only a 5 minute drive from our home. We are also very close to the coast with some lovely beaches pretty villages and harbours. Sailing is a very popular pastime in this area. A little further afield, you can visit historic Arundel and it's castle. Portsmouth and Brighton are wonderful places to visit for a day.(both less than an hour's drive). All in all Chichester is a perfect location for a holiday.

The map marker is a general indicator of the local area only.

Nearest golf course - Goodwood. We have many local golf courses as well as Goodwood. There is one just a mile or so outside of Chichester and then one in Littlehampton and one in Worthing.

My husband is a retired publisher and I a retired head teacher. We have a large family and spend a lot of time gladly helping out with our grandchildren. Peter is very active within the Rotary club and we both belong to a local amateur dramatics group. When Peter has time he enjoys painting and I play bridge,(badly)! We recently gave up our caravan after moving into Chichester 2 years ago. We are now ready to find a different way to visit and explore new places, which is why we thought home exchange would be perfect for us.
