Port Elizabeth Port Elizabeth and East London 150 kms
Yes

Both Port Elizabeth and East London are typical coastal cities but are limited in exciting things for tourists to see or do without a tour guide to show them around.

Port Alfred is midway between Port Elizabeth and East London (150 kms) where there are international airports. The Royal Alfred Marina on the Kowie River has 360, mostly holiday homes, each with their own jetty in the canals that link the river to the Indian Ocean.
All major stores are available for quick and easy shopping. The hospital caters for all emergencies.
The area has been dominated by the 1820 British settlers, whose descendants still operate farms and other establishments. The interesting history of the Eastern cape is well displayed through five very different museums.

The map marker is a general indicator of the local area only.

The Royal Port Alfred Golf Club 18 hole course is up to international standards with magnificent sea views and lots of indigenous game such as springbok, impala, bushbuck, blesbuck, and others that are a joy to behold.
The fairly new Belmont Valley Golf Club is 45 kms away and a real treat for the true golf lover.
The Fish River Sun, 18 hole, Gary Player course (30km) is another wonderful venue for the whole family, as the heated swimming pools can be used all year round.
