4-STORY COMFORTABLE FAMILY HOME, IN CITY OF CALGARY, CLOSE TO THE ROCKY MOUNTAINS
Your room would be the master suite upstairs, with a balcony and private ensuite. Boasts an amazing view of the Rocky Mountains. TV to use with Chromecast. There is a kettle and tea and coffee in your room. You’d of course be encouraged to use our kitchen. Use our stuff for breakfast.
I’m happy to give you ideas for places to visit in Calgary, or seeing/hiking/skiing in our nearby beautiful Rocky Mountains.
Large metropolitan area for museums, festivals, parks, shopping.
Calgary has a population of 1.2 million. We host the ‘Calgary Stampede’ in July each year, plus many other events and festivals.
An hour’s drive from our home brings you to the foothills, and a bit longer brings you to Banff and the Rocky Mountains. I often drive to the mountains, hike, and return the same day. Banff is a world-renowned destination. Five of Canada’s fourteen UNESCO World Heritage sites are in Alberta, and Banff National Park is an easy reach.
Calgary itself has interesting museums, interactive fun spots, horse shows, rodeos, various festivals, an architecturally celebrated library, the iconic “Peace Bridge,” a wonderful zoo, eclectic art, every type of restaurant with every type of food, and an active night life. It’s easy to use our c-train to get around locally, but renting a car is necessary for the out-of-town destinations.
Calgary is the destination for horses, mountains, hiking, golf, and every sport you can imagine.
Calgary has every food you can imagine.
Enjoy what our city and area around the city has to offer, and then enjoy our home for rest and re-energizing.
Our home is also perfect for business people needing a desk and a quiet atmosphere to work in.
There are several public golf courses in the city, but there are opportunities in areas around Calgary, such as Canmore and Banff.
