Nanaimo is the closest large city and it's located about 20kms from the house. A smaller city, Parksville, is located 8 kms. away and Qualicum Beach is 15kms. Both Parksville and Qualicum are summer tourist destinations.
Parksville/Nanoose is a highly desirable tourist destination during the summer months. The town is about 7kms from the house and the city of Nanaimo is 20kms away. Within a stones throw is Pacific Shores Nature resort which has a restaurant and swimming pool, nite club etc.
