We are happy to consider a longer exchange, especially in Australia as our daughter lives there but other places too. We love travelling and enjoy new destinations.
Our lovely comfy detached bungalow is in a quiet cul de sac in Deganwy. It consists of the main bungalow and a garden annex which has a bedroom and ensuite bathroom with power shower. In the main bungalow we have a lounge, two bedrooms, kitchen dining room which has a patio window out to the garden. There is a bathroom with bath, toilet, hand basin and over bath shower and also a cloakroom with toilet and hand basin. One of the bedrooms has a king sized bed and the other two are double bedrooms. The garden wraps around the bungalow with grass, trees and shrubs and a patio area. There is a lovely wood at the rear of the gardens. There are footpaths within 200 metres of the house leading to the ancient Vardre hill which has ruins of Deganwy castle and spectacular views across the estuary and beyond.
Deganwy is a pretty coastal town on the estuary of the river on the shores of the Conwy Estuary between Llandudno and medieval Conwy. It enjoys a privileged position with stunning views across the water to Conwy Castle and the Isle of Anglesey. There’s a sand and stone beach and a sleek, modern marina and quayside development complete with spa hotel, stylish shopping and dining with a good choice of boutiques and restaurants.
Llandudno is a couple of miles away and is Wales's largest resort, uniquely situated between the Great Orme and Little Orme with two award-winning beaches, Llandudno North Shore Beach and the quieter, sand duned West Shore Beach.
Llandudno has kept its Victorian and Edwardian elegance and splendour, despite its modern attractions.
Conwy is a couple of miles away with its Dramatic 13th century Conwy Castle and towers. It is one of the best examples of a medieval walled town in Europe and has shops, restaurants and beautiful walks around the walls.
