Yes 55 Berry Farming Canadian
My name is Darcy Johnston and I am a Rotarian in the Salmon Arm Rotary Club, District 5060. My husband Chris and I we are 55 years old and recently retired. My husband Chris retired from an electrical carreer and I retired from the financial industry. We currently live on an active berry farm. Our passion is Rotary, we love to give back to our community and to the world.
My hobbies outside of the farm are golfing, curling, hiking our many trails and mountains in our area and travelling. Now that we have flexibility in our life style we would like to see the world and all its cultures.
We live in a community where we are surrounded by mountains and lakes. Skiing, boating, hiking, kayaking and golfing are some of the popular activities in our area. We also live in wine country. We have wineries all through the valley that can be enjoyed.
Live theatre and music is also a very big part of our community, which my husband and I partake in.
