We are only 18 km from Cape Town City, in a quiet street, near a lake and about 7 minutes from the beaches. We have one bedroom and one bathroom a spacious garden for a barbecue or just to relax in the outdoor climate! Our neighbourhood is very safe and you will find all the services you may need about 7/10 min away: supermarkets, banks, shops of all kinds and we have a good choice of restaurants. Our home is in a fairly new suburb located at the West Coast. A quiet and safe area, great for walking and cycling, but still close to lively cafe's and big shopping areas and everything else the city has to offer.
The map marker is a general indicator of the local area only.

We love travelling, and think that Home Exchange is just what we need to travel more on the moment.
We are a husband and wife team that love meeting new people. Many people from all over the world have been hosted by us since we became part of the group, Servas twenty years ago.
Apart from travelling we also love photography, reading, canoeing, fishing and making new friends. Walking used to be one of the many things we loved doing, but back and knee operations made us stop for now, walking the Camino de Santiago in 2008 was our last long walk.
Being an author of mostly children’s books and a few others, and running our own electronics business from home is a good way of keeping ourselves busy.
We have three sons and two daughters all living their own lives. Then there are our six beautiful grandsons from ages twenty to one years of age. Our eldest daughter one of the mothers will keep us company for the first two weeks of our holiday.
