3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home in lovely Perth northern suburb.
We'd consider 3 to 4 week exchanges within Australia or New Zealand, or 2 to 3 months in U.K.
Our home is bright and very comfortable with all modern facilities in a desirable suburb some 15 kilometres north of Perth city.
Inside it features 3 bedrooms, study, 2 bathrooms (1 being en-suite), 2 living areas each with TV/DVD, modern kitchen with separate dining area.
There are attractive front and rear gardens, a secure double carport and a very pleasant covered patio for outside dining.
There are numerous interesting places to visit both in Perth city and close by. The city itself demands a visit to beautiful Kings Park
with its glorious bushland, gardens and walk trails while it offers spectacular views of Perth city and the Swan River from its elevated location. The newly developed Elizabeth Quay and the Swan Bell Tower between the city business/shopping precinct and the river are well worth a visit and a river cruise from the city to Fremantle is quite delightful.
Fremantle itself is a fascinating city with many historic buildings (including The Round House and Fremantle Prison) setting it apart from Perth city. A pleasant drive south of Perth is the thriving city of Mandurah, while north, and only a 15 minute drive from our home is the very popular Sorrento Quay/Hillary's Marina complex. Further afield but still worth visiting is the world famous wine growing area of Margaret River.
Our home is in a well established quiet suburb north of Perth city with major north/south and east/west roads and freeways within a few minutes drive from where we live. Both bus and train public transport is readily available with a number a major shopping centres/theatre complexes all within a 10 to 15 minute drive in addition to our smaller local shopping centre which is a 2 minute drive or 10 to 15 minute walk away with its 2 supermarket stores, butcher, pharmacy, hairdresser, travel agent and ATM's.
Adjacent to the shopping centre are a doctors surgery, a dental practice and the local Community Centre.
Two private golf courses (Karrinyup and Joondalup) are not far from our home, however in our neighbouring suburb of Marangaroo is a most delightful public golf course with its resident kangaroo population.
