The Cottage at Mango Manor(c. 1930) is part of a historic ½ acre home site, first platted in 1922 (old for Florida); a larger, new family home was added-on in 2011. The Cottage is an 1,100 square foot (102 m²) that sleeps 4; with 1 King [Pillow-Top bed] Bedroom, 1 Twin [2 single Memory Foam beds] Bedroom, 1 Bath, Full Kitchen, Central Air Conditioning, Clothes Washer & Dryer, attractive Sitting Area, 2 HD Televisions, and High-Speed WiFi. The entire Cottage was restored in 2011, and meets today's strict Florida Hurricane Building Code. The nearest airports are Palm Beach & Ft. Lauderdale, but Miami is 1.5 hrs. & Orlando is 2.5 hrs. away. Cottage is on a fenced, secluded lot, with mature landscape, and interesting nooks and crannys. The swimming pool and outdoor kitchen-bar are shared, along with the golf-putting green. There is a car park, and separate entrance. This is an excellent place for rest and respite, or just to drop your bags and do your laundry, while you tour around.
West Palm Beach is about 35 miles and features most medium size city facilities including a concert hall (Kravis Center); large shopping malls, baseball stadiums, professional sports, world class dining in Palm Beach, and many other features.
Nestled in an older neighborhood of Stuart, Florida, "Mango Manor" is a perfect location from which to see the sites in both Central Florida (Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World and other Orlando Attractions), and those in South Florida (Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Miami Beach, and the Florida Keys). It is almost equidistant to each location. It is also just a place to "kick-back" and relax. There are nearby Atlantic Ocean and Indian River Lagoon beaches, a historic downtown (Stuart) with a free tram service, a theater, several excellent restaurants, some nightlife, shopping, and beautiful new Memorial Park. Our immediate area has several public golf courses, boat rentals, deep sea fishing excursions, and sail boat tours. There are smaller (but, interesting) museums, regional parks and preserves, and an oceangraphic center with sea life close enough to touch. We are also blessed with excellent medical facilities, churches, and a library.
There are so many public and private golf courses in our area... it's hard to describe! I would just use this link: //www.golfnow.com/destinations/44-west-palm-beach
