Our home is in one of the most beautiful parts of Ontario, Canada. Our home offers comfort in single-floor living. The main floor consists of the master bedroom with full ensuite, the kitchen/living area and small office which can be converted to a bedroom, with a second full bathroom adjacent. The laundry room is located on the first floor as well, off the garage entrance.

The downstairs includes a guest room with its own full bathroom, a rec room with television.

We are both retired and are eager to spend more of our time “on the road”. We also love to cook. We are docents at and attend the Shaw Festival Theatre during its season from February through December.

We love the Niagara region and hope you’ll come and visit!

We live in a townhouse in the city of St. Catharines, about 20 minutes from majestic Niagara Falls, and 20 minutes from picturesque Niagara-on-the-Lake. Downtown Toronto is only about 1 hour away, depending on time of day and traffic. St. Catharines is known for its lush greenery, vast system of hiking trails and picturesque parks. With the Niagara Escarpment running right through the city, there is no shortage of outdoor beauty. It has a unique micro-climate because of the moderating influence of Lake Ontario/Lake Erie and the sheltering effect of the Niagara Escarpment to the south.

The area around our home is very walkable. Grocery shopping and other amenities are all a short walk. There are many excellent restaurants in our city and the surrounding area.

Whether your interests are history, culture and the performing arts, outdoor activities, or culinary arts, there is lots to keep you occupied. There are many dozens of wineries in the region some with spectacular restaurants.

We are in our early 70s. My husband, Terry was involved in the kitchen and bath industry for over 30 years and I was a management consultant in organizational development and behaviour. We are both retired and are eager to explore other countries and cultures. We also love to cook.
