We are a 50-something, empty-nested happily married couple who loves adventure and seeing the world. We spend time in Europe and Australia each year. My husband, Jan, recently sold his business and is testing out retirement. He is a private pilot and we love exploring in our Piper Malibu Matrix. I am a former ad agency owner and am presently a ghostwriter. We travel about half of each year and are active: surfing, cycling, walking/hiking/running, yoga and more. We love the outdoors and especially love vacations where we never have to get in a car. We are partial to coastal cities and villages with warm, temperate climates, and enjoy city and rural living. We are keen to begin house swapping and leaning in to freedom we’ve been planning for our whole lives.
